The absence of star midfielder Ash Centra paved the way for Sierra Grieves to showcase her talent as the Marsh AFL National Academy Girls claimed a 35-point victory over an All-Stars team.

Academy Dominates in Rain-Soaked Contest

Despite slippery conditions, the Academy controlled the game, leading by 36 points at halftime. Grace Martin impressed with her strong presence in the forward line, while Zippy Fish displayed remarkable composure and speed in the midfield. Georgia McKee's two goals were vital contributions.

All-Stars Provide Challenge

The All-Stars team, made up of draftable talent nominated by AFLW clubs, offered a stiffer challenge than the Academy's previous 104-point victory. Maggie Mahony and Sarah Poustie were particularly impressive, with Mahony's 17 disposals and five clearances and Poustie's game-high 24 disposals earning accolades.
