Trap or Treat: Trades to Consider

Treats:

  • Max Holmes (DEF/MID, $877,000): Holmes has elevated his game, averaging 108 in his last five matches. He's a great option against the Tigers this week.
  • Will Day (MID, $738,000): Day has returned to form with recent scores of 102 and 109. He's significantly below his starting price.
  • Travis Boak (MID/FWD, $678,000): Boak has averaged 104 in his last three matches as a dual-position player, offering versatility.

Traps:

  • Jordan Ridley (DEF, $760,000): While Ridley performed well last week, it's wise to wait for another strong showing before investing.
  • Zac Fisher (DEF/FWD, $751,000): Trading in Fisher this week could be a risk, as anything can happen during the bye period.

Cashing Up and Rookie Selection

With all players traded in this week having a bye, many coaches are accumulating cash to strengthen their teams after the break.

  • Kane McAuliffe (MID, $292,000): McAuliffe has been involved in half of Richmond's center bounces recently.
  • Joel Freijah (MID/FWD, $315,000): Freijah has made a positive impact in his first three games, averaging 59.
  • Harvey Harrison (FWD, $289,000): Injuries at Collingwood could make Harrison a regular fixture in the forward line.
